Professional Barista Skills
The Professional Barista Skills course is designed for aspiring baristas who want to master the art of coffee preparation and delivery in a dynamic café environment. This 18 days comprehensive program covers essential techniques and practices to equip students with the skills needed to excel in the coffee industry. Students will also be provided the opportunity to do a minimum 1 week internship at MASA Cafe upon completion of the course.
- Engage in daily practical sessions, in a group of 5-8 or 1:1 allowing students to practice coffee preparation techniques and develop their barista skills in a real-world café environment.
- Learn from experienced baristas and industry professionals who provide valuable insights, tips, and personalized feedback on techniques and service.
- Participate in interactive workshops focused on advanced brewing methods, latte art, and iced beverage preparation, fostering creativity and skill enhancement.
- Gain practical experience in customer service by servingreal customers developing communication skills essential for a café setting during the 1 week internship
- Train with state-of-the-art espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment, ensuring familiarity with the tools of the trade.
- Understand and apply hygiene and food safety practices throughout the course, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness in food and beverage preparation.
- Experience hands-on training in inventory management and operating a Point of Sale (POS) system, essential skills for café management.
- Experience a simulated café environment where students manage coffee service during peak hours, enhancing time management and multitasking abilities during the internship

Students will be provided certification from MASA coffee school after the Final Pressure Test Assessment. Students will also be provided internship letter once you they have completed internship at MASA Cafe. The certificate will entail the various competencies accomplished throughout the training period.
The course fee for Professional Barista skills is NPR 20000 only. Students have to make 50% payment when beginning this course and remaining 50% within 10 days from the class start date

Professional Coffee Training with MASA
Masa Coffee School serves as our specialized wing for professional coffee training, complemented by Masa Café, where students from both Masa Coffee School and IIG gain valuable hands-on experience through internships. After completing their training, students actively participate in coffee production, café operations, and customer service, providing them with real-world exposure and the practical skills needed to excel in the hospitality industry.
